| Valentine Candy Quilt |
This beautiful "Valentine Candy" quilt shows off the art of scrap quilting. A talented member of the Quilting Board community (@JENNR8R) created it for her daughter. The design gives new life to leftover fabric pieces, turning them into a lively celebration of love. This project shows how a "scrappy" style can create a stylish and unified work of art. It serves as great inspiration for quilters wanting to use up their fabric stash.
The quilt has a series of large patchwork hearts, each carefully made from different colorful fabric squares. These squares create a look similar to a box of assorted candies. The hearts stand out against a crisp, cream-colored background, enhanced by detailed long-arm quilting with elegant feathers and swirling designs. A lovely detail is the "Dresden Plate" floral border at the bottom, adding a fun element. The mix of colorful scraps inside the organized heart shapes creates a stunning visual balance. This quilt is truly a labor of love.
