This pattern has two beautiful block designs. The first block is a large star block with clean diagonal piecing. It alternates with a block full of square frames using fun prints. This design uses pre-cut squares from the Layer Cake and Charm Pack along with solids. It is efficient to sew as well as allowing lots of scope for playing with the different values and stand out prints.
The large block makes for a great stand out quilt. The stars will really stand out against the background. It would be perfect for any festive fabric lines or seasonal collections. The blocks are also large enough to easily use some of your stash to create a stunning quilt.
