Created by Katie Doucette of Wilmington Prints, with generous support from Bear Creek Quilting Company, this pattern embodies all things fall! The design is an ideal mix of traditional, modern and perfect scenic accent fabrics of harvest pumpkins and adorable vintage bikes.
Before beginning this project, here are some important facts to know:

- Finished Size: 53" x 71" (A generous throw size, ideal for draping over a porch chair or for a cozy throw on the couch)
- Pattern Construction: The layout is a beautiful alternation of large pieced leaf blocks with horizontal scenic sashing strips.
This 53" x 71" throw is not only a great finisher it's a great canvas for your favorite techniques. The horizontal strip piecing is very kind to the strip piecing enthusiast. The leaf blocks could be easily adapted for foundation paper piecing, if you prefer to have razor sharp points on your foliage. With the top finished, it's the ideal time to mount the top on the frame for some custom longarm quilating, such as echoing those leaf patterns or adding swirling fall wind designs to the surface!
